All in Rental Property

117. Owning Rental Property Is a Business

MONEY JOURNEY

This episode explores a form of investing that doesn’t often feature heavily in the wealth-building stories I usually share. I spoke at length with Lilly about the successful property investment business she and her husband, James, built together. The more I learned about how they deliberately grew their rental portfolio, the more I wanted to share their story as an example of how property, when done well, can be incredibly lucrative.

64. Building intergenerational wealth through property investment.

MONEY JOURNEYS

Jay reached out to me with a story to share about him and his wife Shelle and their property investment journey. He sees residential real estate as their way to riches, and he enjoys the ins and outs of the property market. He’s building on a foundation built by his whānau and continuing to grow his investments, with the main goal being for him and Shelle to hand them on to the next generation.

56. House Rich, Cash Poor

MONEY JOURNEYS

By working hard and being at the right place at the right time, Fatima had managed to buy several properties but there was a tipping point one day when she found herself seriously short on cash and having to borrow money from whanau. Fatima is not one to muck around, so she decided to implement some change and reintroduce some balance into her life.

42. Coming a long way in a short space of time.

MONEY JOURNEYS

In this final podcast of this series, I’m doing a recap of two people that I’ve spoken with earlier. Firstly Bret from episode #20, a guy who had gone from being a super consumer to someone who is finally in control of money. And Lucas from episode #28 who last time we met was staring down the barrel of a $1.2 million dollar mortgage. Both have come an extremely long way in a very short space of time.
